to truly know what it's like to work with me i believe you must first know who i am. so who the heck am i? i'm ashley if that wasn't already a given...a wife, a dog mama, auntie, friend and so much more. lover of naps and coffee. the one that strives to make sure each and every client is comfortable in front of my camera. my goal with each and every client is to make them feel as if it is one of their friends behind the camera documenting and preserving memories and moments for them to hold onto for a lifetime. these moments documented (no matter how small) are what make you who you are. they are 1,000% worth preserving. i want you to remember your time with me exactly how it played out, but most importantly i want to you to feel comfortable and at ease not only during our time together but leading up to our time together.

after inquiring via my contact form,  we will get to know each other a bit more to ensure we are a good fit and will then discuss availability to see if our schedules align.

after confirmation of your date and package selection, i will write up a personalized contract and invoice. your date is officially reserved and yours upon completing these two documents.

after you're officially booked, i work hard to make the process leading up to your session as smooth and stress free as possible. i have guides and questionnaires that help us both successfully prepare for your session!

when you hire me as your photographer, you also gain me as a friend, therefore, i am always just a text, phone call or message away to answer any questions you may have.

now it's the big day! try to relax and don't worry about posing. i know this is a common worry but i promise to guide you through each and every aspect of your session. all i want you to do is show up.. i'll handle the rest!

now i have a camera full of beautiful images of you! what's next? you can expect sneak peeks the following day and your full gallery 1-2 weeks after your session. i pride myself in quick turn around time and know how eager you are to see your images!

why do i need to sign a contract?

a contract outlines all things related to your session. this is an agreement between all parties to ensure everyone is on the same page. this helps prevent misunderstandings and miscommunication and clarifies details. contracts cover all parties involved and are not just for the benefit of the photographer.

do you require a retainer to book?

i require a 50% non-refundable retainer fee for sessions. you are not officially booked with me until this has been paid. the remainder of your total package investment is due 1 week prior to your session. the retainer reserves the date and time agreed upon and i will not make any other reservations for that date or time and for this reason the retainer is nonrefundable.

how long will it take to get my images?

for regular sessions, you can expect sneak peeks the following day and your full gallery 2-3 weeks after your session!

*sneak peeks are not sent for mini sessions.

do i get the copyright to my photos?

all clients receive a copyright release in their contract as well as in their final gallery. this allows you to access, download, and print the images as you'd like.

how many photos will i get?

the number of images you receive depends on the length of your session and the package booked. an optional upgrade is available for all packages for those clients that want all images from their session.

what is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

if a session needs to be rescheduled, it must be done at least 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled date, and no extra fees will apply. if the session is rescheduled less than 2 weeks before the shoot, there will be a $50 fee to reschedule. if the session needs to be rescheduled due to inclement weather, that will be determined by the photographer, with input from the client. if a session needs to be rescheduled due to inclement weather, there will be no rescheduling fee.

do you give clients raw images?

raw files will not be released to clients under any circumstances.
